Just like Catalina, many young people have been transformed and have decided to follow and serve God as a result of what He has done in their lives through YWAM Medellín. As a community, we have listened to the voice of God and obeyed his call to rescue generations leading them to know God and make him known. In faith, we see God's support and believe that He is guiding us to expand and now buy a campus .

WHY A CAMPUS?

In 1997, we arrived in Medellín to found the first Discipleship Training School (DTS) of YWAM Medellin. Our vision: to send young missionaries to all nations and transform every sphere of society with the gospel.

In 27 years of work, we have sent young people to five continents on short and long term missions. In addition, we have also trained young people to work in the different spheres of society such as: business, civil government, arts, media, education, family, and church among other things.

This Missionary Training Campus will allow us to train more young people per year; offering new missionary training programs in areas such as sports, wellness, and agriculture which are key to entering countries closed to the gospel and creating self-sustainable projects for the campus.

STRATEGIES

First Offering: As a community, we feel the call to be the first to give from everything that we have. On May 13, 2024 we will gather to give this first "grassroots" offering with joy and commitment!

Square Meter: One strategy for purchasing the campus is to find supporters who want to be part by donating the value of 1 square meter. Our aim is to include many of the those that have passed through YWAM Medellin over the years and have been blesssed!

Colombian Community: We will contact and invite businessmen, churches, and other organizations to be a part by giving larger donations as we advance towards the established goal.

International Support: Lastly, we want to invite businessmen, churches, and organizations from other nations to not only take part financially but also with their expertise to buy and build this campus!

FUTURE PROJECTS

• Sowing Light in the Darkness: Through agriculture we have a two-fold mission:

   1. Develop self-sustainable crops for YWAM Medellin.

  2. Transmit God’s Word by teaching rural families to          have better quality of life with a biblical worldview to      agronomy.

• J.O.Y. Center: Our aim is to have a wellness center focused on comprehensive care of not only missionaries but also individuals needing rest and to be restored physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

• Coffeehouse: A welcoming place where we can serve the community as a business and also use it as an open door to evangelize.

• Sports Ministry: Our goal is to have a sport ministry, focused on soccer and volleyball, to disciple children and young people from Colombia and other nations.

• The Origin Studio: Develop an audiovisual studio for podcasts and sound recording to better impact society through the visual arts.
